Skylo Wins Multiple Honors at the GSMA Foundry Excellence Awards 2026

Skylo wins in two out of five categories at the GSMA Foundry Excellence Awards 2026, recognized for pioneering satellite-enabled safety and connectivity for both vehicles and wearables.

Skylo has been recognized with two major wins out of a total of five award categories at the GSMA Foundry Excellence Awards 2026, highlighting the company’s leadership in making satellite a standard, seamless part of the mobile network across both vehicles and wearables. Skylo earned the Next‑Generation Connectivity & Access award for its “Keeping Vehicles Connected” project, which enables seamless integration between satellite and terrestrial networks so vehicles remain connected even when traditional cellular coverage is unavailable.

Skylo also received the Trust, Security & User Protection award for its “Ensuring Wearables Can Always Connect” project, designed to keep wearables online for safety and health‑related use cases, even outside traditional network reach. Together, these wins highlight Skylo’s impact across mobility, personal safety, and the broader ecosystem working to bring reliable NTN‑powered connectivity to everyday devices. These awards reflect Skylo’s continued leadership in setting the standard for non‑terrestrial connectivity that consumers and industries can rely on.

“These wins validate the work our team and partners are doing to make seamless satellite connectivity an everyday reality,” said Vijay Krishnan, VP of Strategic Partnerships at Skylo. “Whether it’s a vehicle on the move or a wearable someone depends on for safety, our goal is simple: keep people connected when it matters most.”
