Emnify and Skylo have announced what they sayis an industry-first convergence of satellite and mobile IoT connectivity froma single Emnify Sim. The companies partnered with module manufacturer Murata toachieve the milestone.
Emnify is a specialist in IoT connectivityservices; Skylo provides a service that allows smartphones and IoT wirelessdevices to connect directly over existing satellites. They combined the first’scloud-native, mobile core technology and direct IoT cellular access withproviders around the globe with the second’s non-terrestrial network (NTN)satellite to deliver seamless network IoT connectivity.
